Google Voice Commands?? Control TV with voice commands. Specifically You Tube TV and Google (nest?)

My sister has Alzheimers and can't figure out her tv remote anymore.  It is a smart TV. It's about 5 steps just to get to You Tube TV.  Can I set up the smart TV and connect it to a google product that would allow her to say "Hey Google, Turn On TV" AND could she then say "Hey Google, turn on You Tube TV" and could she then say "Hey Google Play Turner Classic Movies channel."
If all of this is possible, what products do I need to buy?  Google Nest?

It depends if the smart TV has Google Assistant. If it does, this should be possible with Google Nest in combination with the smart TV, where Nest is listening for the "OK Google" trigger.

If the smart TV doesn't support Google Assistant, adding a Google Chromecast with Google TV dongle in combination with the Nest would work.

It depends if the smart TV has Google Assistant. If it does, this should be possible with Google Nest in combination with the smart TV, where Nest is listening for the "OK Google" trigger.
