Subject: Feature Request & Usability Feedback for Appointment Scheduling
I'm really glad Google Calendar now offers appointment scheduling — it’s a useful feature and something I’d love to use more regularly. That said, there are a few important areas where the experience could be improved significantly:
-
No central dashboard: Once a booking page is created, there's no easy way to view or manage existing schedules. A centralized dashboard showing all active appointment pages would make a huge difference.
-
No ability to edit: After setting up an appointment schedule, there doesn’t seem to be a way to modify it. If I want to change anything (like available times, title, or description), I have to delete it and create a new one from scratch. This makes it difficult to maintain consistency or update details.
-
Link management: There’s no clear way to retrieve the booking link unless I immediately copy it. It would be great if the link were easily accessible in the calendar event or stored somewhere in settings.
-
Customizable URLs: Being able to personalize or at least simplify the booking URL would be extremely helpful for branding and ease of sharing.
-
Embedding limitations: I understand the security reasons behind iframe restrictions, but it would be great if Google offered an official widget or integration method for embedding the booking page on websites.
I truly appreciate the work your team puts into Google Calendar, and I hope you’ll consider enhancing these areas. Appointment scheduling has a lot of potential — these changes would help it become a true alternative to other booking platforms.
