The Tasks tab is not appearing in Spaces

As a new Google Workspace Administrator, I am trying to facilitate task assignments inside our organization. According to this Help article, this should be an easy thing, using Spaces inside Google Chat. But when I go to any of the spaces I have created, the Tasks tab does not appear.

I checked the Tasks Service in Admin, and it was ON for all users. I turned it OFF and ON again, leaving enough time for the settings to occur, but nothing. I have done the same thing using Organizational Units and even Groups. The problem is still there: no Tasks tab.

I know how to implement a rudimentary task system integrating Spreadsheets with Calendar through Apps Scripts. However, I would prefer to use Google Tasks because it is a persistent interface with easy access from Gmail and Calendar, our job's most constantly open windows.
