When you buy something from Google, your payment info gets saved in your payments profile.
The next time you buy something through Google, you can reuse the info in the payments profile which is connected to your Google Account.
Your individual Google payments profile stores info like:
- The name, address, and tax ID (when legally required) of who's responsible for the payments profile.
- Your credit cards, debit cards, bank accounts, and other payment methods you’ve used to pay for things on Google.
- Other addresses you've used with Google, like for autofill on Chrome and Google Pay.
- Receipts and other info about what you’ve previously purchased.
- Recurring subscriptions and payments.

Manage your payments profile settings
- Payments profile ID: This is a unique number that Google uses to identify the organization or individual to which this Payments account is registered. You can't change this number.
- Country or region: You can't change this setting. If you move or travel to a different country, you need to make a new payments profile.
- Account type: This setting says if you're an individual or a business. This can't be changed.
- US tax exemption info: Some businesses may be eligible for a US tax exemption. Learn more about business tax exemption info if you’re a business.
- Name: This is your name that appears on bills and tax documents. Learn how to change your legal name.
- Address: This is your home or business address. Learn how to change your legal or billing address.
- Phone number: This is the phone number connected with your profile.
- Document language preference: This is the language you want to find on documents.
Manage more than one payments profile
If you use your profile for personal payments, you can only have one payment profile for the country you live in. This makes it easy to manage all of your Google purchases in one place.
You can have more than one payments profile if:
- You move to a different country or region: You need a new payments profile for each country you live in.
- You have a business payments profile: You can have a separate profile for your business.
