Pixel tablet cant make video calls to nest hub max

I used to have a nest hub max, as does my mother. We used it for video calls between us. When I upgraded to pixel tablet she can no longer see video from my side. I call her using meet from my phone and it works fine.

Does anyone have any ideas what we could try as a fix?

Be sure you have all permissions granted for the app. Long press the app, select the i. Then permissions and ensure you have camera permissions enabled

I have this exact same scenario. I gave my old nest hub Max to my parents, I use the Google Pixel tablet in dock mode. I can see their video but they cannot see my video. When I call their nest hub max using my pixel phone there is no issue. This is definitely a problem with the Google pixel tablet
