How to fix "Invalid media bundle" issues

"Invalid media bundle" is a very general error caused by many reasons.

 

Most GWD users encountering this error are using this combination: Google Ads network, Dynamic Remarketing campaign, and a Responsive-sized creative. In this case, the error means the creative is being uploaded to the wrong type of campaign — so either a non-dynamic campaign, or a dynamic campaign with the wrong feed type associated, or the special case of the Retail vertical (GMC feed) which requires a "Smart Shopping Campaign" and is completely different from the old Dynamic-Remarketing-Retail campaigns that only accept non-responsive sizes.

 

If you're getting this error with single size creatives (or responsive creatives after following the above steps) then it can be due to the exit events.
