Duplicate responsive dynamic ad sizes

Just really trying to work out the best way to achieve this but I'm creating a responsive ad campaign that has multiple sizes with some slight variations in design. I'm using responsive to do the different sizes which is all fine and the ads are also using a dynamic link through studio. My issue is that some of the variations require 2 duplicate sizes so for example MPU size. Is there a way to create a duplicate size so that I can work on all designs from the same file or do I need to accept that I will have to create this as a separate file. If it was just text / image content changing then this would obviously be sorted with the dynamic link but in this situation the text positioning also needs to change. If I was able to create a additional size in the responsive list then I could add the override but in testing I'm not able to add a size that already exists. 

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying you have 2 different designs for a 300x250 size ad, both using the same content? In that case, yes, you'd need 2 different creatives. Depending on your requirements you might be able to use a combination of range rules and single size overrides in GWD if you have similar but different sizes to support. Multiple designs for one size is not really supported directly... you'd need to do something more complicated to handle it, like setting a dynamic feed item for "layout" and then using that to load a different page (different layout) in your GWD creative. The same could be applied to your text alignment, for example, a feed item "Headline-alignment" could be read in your feed and applied to the creative overriding the default alignment. To me, just building a separate file for each unique layout of a duplicate size sounds easier.
