Hi everyone,
Thanks for your comments and screenshots! This is a known issue and we are looking to fix this soon. The main reason why this message appears is that you currently have multiple streams that use the same key. One on the "Stream" tab and another one on the "Manage" tab on the left hand side. We will work on fixing this so this doesn't happen in the future.
The fix for now:
- Navigate to the Stream page on the left hand side
- Create a new stream key you will not use for streaming (do not reset the stream key) - you can label this to make it stand out.
- Select the newly created key for the stream you currently have on the Stream page.
- Go back to the Manage page on the left, and schedule a new stream using a different stream key - this should be the stream key you have pasted in your encoder.
Let me know if this helps!

I can tell you what will happen if you go live with the scheduled stream is that you'll get two streams running concurrently on your channel (the stream you've scheduled and like a "ghost" stream.
From what I can gather YouTube made some change's to livestreaming (again) last week. Not sure if something has gone wrong with the update or whether this is just how things are now?
No idea if there's a fix or a workaround etc I'm afraid.

but youtube guys are sleeping on this bug for more than a month!!! I mean why you guys force us to use new live studio when it is not as functional as old classic live studio. this does not make any sense to me.

How are we supposed to use an encoder with a static key for a daily repetitive stream?

We are having the same issue here. We are trying to go live with parallel events, some that are scheduled via YT directly, using an external encoder, and others are managed via StreamYard. The problem is that it appears that the stream key is shared across all live events, this means you cannot have more than 1 event at a time.
Can you confirm this?
How can we fix it?
Thanks.

We also have the same problem.
Every time we start a new stream, we have to change the streaming key because otherwise the live will not start.
Until a few weeks ago, everything worked automatically.
No help?

So now I have 2 scheduled events for Sunday using the same key and I still get an error on one of my events, even though there is nothing in the stream area.

Am I correct in assuming that the reason is because I already have a scheduled Livestream with the current stream key.
So it's saying that I cannot livestream immediaitely using that same key as a scheduled livestream.
I hope that this does not mean that my scheduled livestream will experience problems as the URL has been sent to a large expected audience. I'd love to test the theory but do not want to lose the scheduled livestream - maybe I can delete it and still use the same stream code when I replace it - which should keep the same URL.
I'd love some advice
